Do you feel like your brand is getting a little stale? Try a brand refresh!
You may be thinking, don’t you mean a rebrand? Nope, I mean a refresh! Fabrik explains it perfectly, “...if a brand refresh is a makeover for your company, then a rebrand is the plastic surgery.” We’re not diving into the bones of your brand today, we’re simply looking at the surface.
PromoCorner had a rebrand quite a few years ago, but this rebrand also included a refresh with a new logo & tagline. Fast forward about five years and it was time to freshen things up even more! We introduced new colors to our scheme, created appealing logos to accompany our content, and switched out how our marketing looked. These simple refreshes provided a powerful effect on our brand and didn’t go unnoticed by our customers.
Every brand (identity & mission) needs to change to stay current so dusting off yours with a little refresh isn’t something to be afraid of. In fact, ignytebrands.com states B2B companies typically refresh their brand every 5+ years.
If you think it’s time your brand gets a refresh, here are four steps you can follow to make it happen. But remember, everything in your refresh should build upon your existing strengths.
1. Audit Your Brand
-
Is the brand still aligned with your mission?
-
How can your branding provide an edge over your competitors?
2. Redefine Your Brand
-
How does your messaging need to adjust so it’s more compelling?
-
In what ways can your brand stand out in an oversaturated market?
3. Update Your Brand Standards
4. Unveil Your Refresh
- Update your website, social, and marketing to show your refresh to the world.
- Create a well-thought-out campaign to show off the refresh and gain attention.
We don't just talk the talk, PromoCorner has a lot more brand refreshing happening behind the scenes that we can’t wait to show you!
