What does your company’s social media presence look like? Is it super salesy (technical term) or do you strike a balance between sales and thought-provoking content? If you said the latter, good for you, I’ll see you next month. If you said the former then I hope this article helps you come up with some creative ways to shake things up!
Sales flyers are OK to share but they shouldn’t be the only thing you post. This is more self-serving than giving. A way to add thought-provoking content to your feed is to break your flyers down into other types of posts. One way of doing this is to spotlight a product from your flyer in a lifestyle image while posing a fun question with the accompanying text that your followers want to respond to.
Another way is to turn one of the products on your flyer into a case study. What are some ways customers have used this product before? This will help your other customers think outside of the box when they’re working on their next promotion.
If you really want to seize the social algorithm, try creating a video! There’s nothing better than seeing a product in action. This also helps the customer visualize the size of the product and imprint area when it is being handled by a person.
Voila! You now have multiple easy and creative social posts from one sales flyer. Yes, you're still showing your product with the goal of making a sale, but featuring them as a lifestyle, case study, or video makes the posts less "salesy" and more idea driven by helping your customers visualize how your products can be used.
