HALO Acquires Harvey-Daco
HALO Branded Solutions has acquired distributor Harvey-Daco. Established in 1949, the Waco, TX-based firm also has offices in Austin, Dallas and Houston. According to HALO, it will maintain Harvey-Daco's current offices throughout Texas and will retain key support staff to continue to support the business.

Voting Open for PPAI Board
The election for the PPAI Board of Directors Class of 2020 is now open. Distributor candidates are Dan McEntee, area vice president–special order at Staples Promotional Products and Perry Wehrle, president of PAW Marketing, Inc. Supplier candidates are Brittany David, vice president of sales at SnugZ USA and Marc Held, vice president of national sales at Bodek and Rhodes. The election will run September to September 28, with results available in early October.
One candidate from each category will be elected by the membership and will begin a four-year board term immediately following The PPAI Expo 2016. The PPAI board election will be administered electronically by a third-party election administrator as well as by paper ballot as required. Each PPAI member company’s designated voter has been provided with a username and password, and paper ballots were mailed to all voters.
