According to Statista, there are currently 6.4 billion smartphone users worldwide, which means over 80 percent of the population owns a smartphone. This number is only expected to increase over the coming years—and research also shows that the average U.S. adult spends nearly four hours a day on mobile devices. Portable chargers are top sellers at KTI Promo, according to Steffany Rivera, because of the need to charge mobile devices on the go. “We all have multiple smart devices at all times and the usage continues to increase which is why is important to keep a portable charger close by,” she says. “Demand continues to increase, as more businesses continue to open. Cell phone accessories continue to be a high-end gift for corporate America.”

With the nation continuing to open up and business and pleasure travel once again on the rise, suppliers are relying on new and best-selling accessories for gifts and giveaways. KTI Promo’s Rivera believes that promoting cell phone accessories to clients is a matter of maximizing exposure. “Consistently increasing visibility of these items as well as offering a fair price are the suggestions we have,” she advises.

Farrell at EMT recommends adding custom backer cards to help tell your whole story. “Custom cards are a great, low-cost add-on that gives your product a retail look while padding your margin,” he notes.

There’s no doubt that capitalizing on the popularity of cell phone usage by offering top-of-the line accessories will result in high tech brand exposure—and help your clients keep their name top of mind every time a cell phone is in hand.
