Identity Marketing Poll: eMail Broadcasts Top Influencers
Almost 40 percent of those responding to an Identity Marketing poll said email broadcasts were the leading type of advertising that affected their purchasing decisions. Surprisingly, despite a strong reliance on industry sourcing engines to "find" products, "pay for placement ads" within the sourcing engines received no votes.
Print ads (which included digital ads), ranked second at 24.3 percent, followed by direct mail at 13.5 percent. Next was "social media" at 9.7 percent.
WI Better Business Bureau Presents Ethics Award to 4imprintThe Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin Foundation, Inc., last week recognized 4imprint for its business ethics and integrity. Fruit of the Loom Among 'Most Reputable' CompaniesThe Reputation Institute again named Amazon as the nation's most reputable company for the second straight year. It was followed by Kellogg's, Lego and Fruit of the Loom.
The Reputation Institute's RepTrak® survey ranked the top 100 reputable companies based on 23,750 consumer respondents and 57,746 ratings. The survey measures the public's perception of companies based on innovation, leadership, governance, citizenship, workplace, performance, and products/services.
One notable company missing from this year's list is Apple, which dropped from 57th in 2014 to 187th this year.
